The #MeToo movement has swept through the nation over the past 10 months. With social media having a larger impact than ever, advocates against sexual assault have been able to use social media platforms to spread their message far and wide. This has resulted in marches, protests, the creation of new advocacy groups, but also in speculation into the validity of #MeToo and the stories being told and who the stories include and do not.
This project looks into the #MeToo movements current state in Boston by looking into different areas of everyday life the movement effects. From Consent Apps to Transgender feelings about the movement, Boston is very much a part of the #MeToo narrative.
