Sociedad Latina, a non-profit organization in Boston, has several programs that are aimed towards providing access to college-level education to Hispanic students. With more and more Hispanic students enrolling in colleges, Sociedad Latina helps them in maintaining good grades and staying in school.
“In October 2010, a record 44 percent of young Hispanic high school completers were enrolled in college, up nearly 5 percentage points from the rate in October 2009 (39%),” a report by Pew Research Center stated.
